Up on the Northshore of Chicago the beaches are less crowded. A few people but not many wandered up and down the shore while I was there. As I was looking north down the beach with my eye towards the horizon most of the others on the beach had their heads down looking at the rocks beneath their feet, These beach combers were looking for glowing little bits of beach glass.
